Originating in Egypt and being grown in several places abroad the Fertile Crescent; the khudri date variety is popular to find and for good reason. Its rich toffee caramel flavour is delivered to you through its sweet and sticky flesh which is chewy yet relatively soft.

The skin on Khudri dates is described as loose as it is not tight to the flesh like some varieties. This can cause these dates to often appear dishevelled and less presentable in lesser quality assured products.
