In truth The journey of Rahman date company started 3 decades ago; when the company founder was yet just a small boy.. enjoying for the first time the satisfyingly sweet taste of his first date. A Tunisian or Algerian date most probably of the deglet Nour variety. Now what young boy doesn't have a sweet tooth? I suppose the journey really begins here..

20 years later and this young boy is surveying and analysing the stock of every shop in his local town comparing the freshness, quality and value of the dates they had to offer. Dates had become more than just a snack.. it was now no less than a passion.

After years of witnessing his enthusiasm and love for this fascinating fruit.; through him, many of his family, friends and colleagues had been exposed to the world of dates in a way they had never considered before. tasting and experiencing the countless varieties many of which which they would most likely otherwise had not.

seeing this keen interest and dedication he was beginning to be entrusted with the task of purchasing dates on others behalf; knowing he would seek out and find the very best that was available at the time.

Another decade later and after the birth of his first daughter a new vision had opened and though it was a simple idea, it was a very focused vision . . . .
